To God be the glory!

Praise God, Lil Will had a successful surgery. The surgeons are always surprised at how well he does considering his PAH(pulmonary arterial hypertension) issues. Of course, we are not, because we know God's got it! His ICU attending, Dr. Darnell had warned us what she expected to see from him after surgery and that was come back on a little higher oxygen support and maybe have more PAH crisis (oxygen saturations dropping). He did on both. He is also on some fentanyl (pain) and versed (sedation)drips as the next 5 days are critical for the healing of the trach. They want to keep him still and quiet with minimal stimulation. After day 5, we can hold him again and begin to learn how to care for his trach to include suctioning, hand bagging with oxygen, if needed. All these things so we can continue to prepare to bring him home with us! Thank you for your prayers for his successful surgery. Today, we are claiming in FAITH, his complete healing of the trach site as God continues to heal his lungs, kidneys and his heart. I am reminded of a song the women's choir at church have sang on many occasions, "I Never lost my praise." Praise God I can kiss those lips ANYTIME I want too without a breathing tube and tape being in the way!!I thank you Father!!!
