Our Rainbow!

WILLIAM
You are our “Rainbow”.

The colors of your Rainbow are: happiness, laughter, love, beauty, strength and peace.
•We will shed tears of sadness, as you have left us so suddenly. But you will be our rainbow of happiness because we will still have your memories of our time together.
•Your smile and laughter had the ability to fill the air, allowing others to inhale your pure spirit, releasing the sadness or worry they may have had within.
•Your love was genuine and unconditional….You loved us just as we were and did not see our flaws.
•Your beauty came from within and was expressed by reminding us what is most important is not what is on the outside of a person but what is steered by their souls.
•Your strength brought joy, surprise and meaning to ordinary days. You had the ability to melt away any feelings of exhaustion, frustration and doubt with the blink of your eyes or popping of your tongue. You proved to everyone that no matter hard situations may seem, with faith – even the most unthinkable situations can be made okay to continue on, giving strength and replenishment to a weary soul.
•Just being in your presence provided a feeling of peace and comfort just like a Rainbow does after a storm.
From now on When we hear Thunder we will know it is you trying to get our attention and reminding us that you are watching over us. When we see Lightning we will remember the spark and meaning that you gave to our lives. As it Rains we will reflect on your memories and we will cry together. And afterwards when you send us your Rainbow, We will rejoice and thank God for taking the time to create you just for us.

March of Dimes - April 16, 2011

We did it, we walked and raised money to help all of the babies born too soon and those born with birth defects! This year, March of Dimes created a Path of Hope, honoring babies born too soon and in memory of those who have earned their angel wings too soon. Our lil Will was chosen by my company to remember along the Path of Hope! We had a great morning with our family and friends! Thanks to all who came out to support us and the March of Dimes!! We love and miss you angel!!

It is our Home Study day..........

Today is our Home Study with the social worker! Once this is complete and she deems us approved, the adoption process can begin!!!! The next step will be a waiting until the Lord hand picks our birth mom. While we wait for that, I will be sending in our applications to foundations who offer grants for parents who are adopting African America or bi-racial babies. All the while praying we are chosen, as every little bit will help with the cost of adoption. But, we know He has ordained this time in our lives and He will join us with the who He wants. Recently, during my journal writing, He spoke to me and said, "I want you to begin praying for the birth mom, start focusing on her and not yourself. Do not worry or concern yourself with whether you and William will try again for a biological baby, focus on the amazing gift I am about to bless you with". I tell you from that day forward, I have let go of the what ifs! So, daily I pray for the birth moms' strength, I pray for her courage, I pray for her health, I pray for her well being. I pray for what she eats, for who she allows in her life, and for her mind, body and her spirit. I pray for the baby, OUR baby, that she is carrying, that he or she will form as God intended, that he or she will not be harmed in anyway and finally I pray for William and I, I pray that God continues to give us the strength to walk the path He has laid out before us, that we continue to prepare our lives for our beautiful baby boy or baby girl blessing. Adoption is not cheap, but money will not stop us from doing what God has placed in our hearts, therefore, we know that He ordained this journey, therefore, He will provide our every need as He always has. So, Father, I thank you for all you are and for all you continue to be in our lives. I love you, and I adore you.

Birthday Fun!

Well, today the Lord blessed me to see another year, 43! It is hard to believe that when I was a young girl, I used to think 40 was old, well NOT! My birthday was great! My parents, sis n her family and the Guerrero's came over, of course, we had my favorite, CHUY'S and as usual it was yummy! The boys played, ran around, jumped on my dad, you know "monkey see, monkey do"! It was alot of fun watching them have a great time together, just like two little cousins, oh wait, they are cousins!! =) What a great way to spend a birthday, with the loved ones that are most dear to you! Thank you God for my many, many blessings!
