Rainbow's...what a BEAUTIFUl gift from God!

I remember when I was a little girl, I use to love to see rainbows and actually believed I could find the "pot" at the end of the rainbow! :) It rained today and what a beautiful rainbow the Lord sent after it stopped. It was absolutely breathtaking. You could clearly see every color of the rainbow. As I was amazed by its beauty a very soft voice whispered in my ear, your special little angel gets to see everything I do up close and personal! He was so right! When I sit back and think of all the wonders of God, the things He does for me daily, it is a wonderful feeling knowing my Prince Will is right there beside Him, probably lending a helping hand. Yall know he was just like his mommie, always trying to help! =) What joy it gives me knowing I do not have to worry about my angel, he is in the best hands he could be in. That simple reminder allows my heart to heal even more as each day passes. I miss you dearly angel but I know you are just a prayer away. I love you!

Enough of the coverage already! In our city, Rowlett, we got about 7 inchses. What a beautiful, beautiful picture! It was absolutely gorgeous! How great is our God!!! If anyone every doubts the Lord, they should just go outside sit still and just be still and see what He created. He is God and He is God alone, He is the only one who can create such awesomeness!! Praise Him!

Happy Anniversary to us!

William and I headed to New Orleans today to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary! As I sit back and think about our love affair, I smile. WOW! We met in February 2007 on e-Harmony, yep, online. It was all God, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. God showed up in our lives and completely showed out. We had a whirlwind relationship and were married on February 2, 2008. First comes loves, then comes, you guessed it the baby carriage wasn't far behind, after all I was almost 40 when we got married, no TIME to waste. As I reflect on the last 3 years, I see how God worked in every fiber of our lives. He was preparing us for what was to come. So, today we are stronger in love, stronger in our faith and just thankful for everyday we have together and still are so very blessed and thankful for our Prince Will! No matter how much or how little time we had with him, we were blessed by God and will remain forever grateful! Happy Anniversary to us!! Thank you Jesus!

Farewell Omaha...bye, bye SNOW, FOG, COLD!

Well, its time to head back to Texas!! Yay! No more snow and cold, cold weather but I am sad because we are going to miss our family. Today, we are having a brunch with Tara & Bret. Tara & Bret are our niece and nephew. They are getting married in July! Cannot wait for this! They are super busy so this was the first time we were able to visit with them during our trip. As you can see, we had a great time catching up and taking pictures. I forgot to mention, Bailey, he is the true King of Casa Oberembt, not Terry. Whatever Bailey, wants, Bailey gets. Bailey almost made me want to get a dog, maybe in a few months or so.....! Our visit was way too short but we had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next trip. Tara, remember, if you need me to handle any wedding issues, holla at me, I have got your back!! We love you guys!! Again, we thank our heavenly Father for allowing us this time with our family and friends!

Omaha - Day 2......COLD and FOGGY

William and I went to pick up little Lula Carlisle so we could take her to lunch and visit with her. William's sisters, Barbara(left) and Etta(right) joined us for a time of fellowship and fun. We had such a great time laughing together. Lula was so happy we were able to share her birthday with her. After we spent our time with our mom and sisters, William and I headed back to Casa Oberembt to take a nap! After all there is no SUN out and it is gloomy, what a great time for a nap. Later that evening, Julie prepared a birthday & anniversary dinner for us. We celebrated William's birthday (2/8) and our wedding anniversary (2/2) with a yummy chocolate cake! As you can see on the pics, William really enjoyed his cake and his birthday song! We had a wonderful evening hanging out with our family! We love you T & J!! Oh, boy, what a short trip, we have to head back on tomorrow so we can be back on Sunday for church. We are thankful to God for blessing us with wonderful friends and family. God is so good, our angel goes with us wherever we go. What does Omaha day 3 have in store for the Carlisles??

Omaha here we come....

William and I left for Omaha on 1/21 to go and celebrate his mom's 80th birthday and to visit family and friends! What a blessing to live to be 80! We had thought we would drive but the blizzard (SNOW!) Omaha had in the recent weeks forced us to take our favorite carrier, Southwest Airlines to Omaha! We arrived safely and the adventure began! SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! and on top of that NO SUN but lots of fog.....please! please! I want to go back to Texas!! From the moment Prince Will's godparents, Julie and Terry picked us up from the airport it was a non-stop, action packed, fun filled weekend. Did I say there was SNOW! Terry and Julie's backyard had snow as tall as me! (Oh, yeah, I can hear you smart ones, saying tall as you, that is not saying much! ) Our first day there was spent just catching up with our dear friends. We talked and talked and ate great food, just hung out and had an awesome fellowship! Did I mention there was SNOW and it was COLD, oh, yeah, even Julie and Terry tried to freeze us out of their house! HA! HA! More to come on Day 2 in Omaha.....
Thank you God for safe travels and for continuing to bless us everyday!
