A letter from my Daddy!

Today, I received a letter from my Daddy! OK, I am crying yet again but they are certainly tears of joy. As a woman, it makes you feel very special when your Dad tells you how proud he is of the woman you have become, and how he told me he admired my strength as a mother. WOW! But, one of the most profound things he said was that he thanked God for allowing him to see me marry a godly man! I was 39 when I got married, I am certain both my parents NEVER thought that day would come!! Thanks be to God for the great things He has done. So, Daddy, I love you very much and I thank you for being the wonderful godly example of a man to me. Your example showed me what I desired to have in mate so when God blessed me with William, I knew he was the ONE! I love you Dad!

Today, a letter from my MOTHER!

What a wonderful husband the Lord blessed me with. He hand picked him especially for ME! He is making my birthday week the best week ever!! He has enlisted our close friends and family to give me cards and write me letters expressing what I mean to them! OMG! I have been crying everyday. I am truly blessed to have such an awesome family! Today, I received a letter from my mom. She told me that I was a D.I.V.A. - DIVINE, INSPIRATIONAL, VIRTUOUS, ANOINTED! Thank you mother!!! I love you very much! All I can say is if I can continue to grow into the woman and wife that you are mom, then I will be a blessing to my family as YOU are to ours!! You are a true Proverbs woman and I am so blessed that God chose YOU to be my mommie! I also want to thank God for blessing me with Prince Will because he truly is the reason I am that D.I.V.A. my mom says I am. My son, strengthened my relationship with our Father. He is my inspiration! I love my lil pumpkin angel.

It's my BIRTHDAY....WEEK!!!

Well, it's my birthday week and the celebration has begun!! Today, was extra special because my sister Melinda surprised me with a trip to visit my angel! She asked me to work half a day, I decided to take off all day. Some of you may say, how is that special? Let me tell you, William and I had purchased a beautiful purple wreath and cross with purple flowers to place at his resting place BUT due to other obligations we weren't going to get down there before Easter. I really wanted to place this with him prior to Easter. Easter has much greater meaning to me this year than it has in years past. So, off we went. The kicker to this surprise is they all truly kept it from ME! I am a super detective and there is not much that people can hide from me but thanks to my husband and Melinda they did it! This was a special visit for me because this is the last time Prince Will's resting place will be posted before we choose his headstone. My nephew Jayden was down visiting with my parents so he helped us clean up his cousins grave site and even found some wild purple flowers to place at his head. Melinda presented me with a special poem and beautiful heartfelt words. We shared laughter and some tears but it was a very special moment for me and God allowed Prince Will to share it with his mommie! This was one of the best gifts I could have ever received! Thanks Mel...I love you lots!!

Welcome to SPRING 2010!

If you did not know it, let me tell you, GOD is in still control of ALL things! Yes, its spring, the season has changed but our God said, "Wait, let it snow in Texas one more time!" What a beautiful sight! Just as quickly as it appeared it left us just as fast! What an awesome winter we had this year, thanks be to God for this season!

Family time.....What FUN!

What fun we had with our family on this night. We played the Wii and our dad loves to bowl on the Wii, of course, he trash talks plenty and BEATS us all! So, we had great food and fun. It is always nice to hang out with our nephews, Jayden and Jason. Jason is our nephew from our sister and brother from another mother! =) They played well together! Aren't they the cutest lil fellows??? I love them both very much

Rainbow's...what a BEAUTIFUl gift from God!

I remember when I was a little girl, I use to love to see rainbows and actually believed I could find the "pot" at the end of the rainbow! :) It rained today and what a beautiful rainbow the Lord sent after it stopped. It was absolutely breathtaking. You could clearly see every color of the rainbow. As I was amazed by its beauty a very soft voice whispered in my ear, your special little angel gets to see everything I do up close and personal! He was so right! When I sit back and think of all the wonders of God, the things He does for me daily, it is a wonderful feeling knowing my Prince Will is right there beside Him, probably lending a helping hand. Yall know he was just like his mommie, always trying to help! =) What joy it gives me knowing I do not have to worry about my angel, he is in the best hands he could be in. That simple reminder allows my heart to heal even more as each day passes. I miss you dearly angel but I know you are just a prayer away. I love you!
