Halloween!

My lil nephew the boxer came to my neighborhood to go trick or treating! Last year, he made to maybe 3 houses and announced he was tired and ready to go back to auntie's house! This year, was much different, he loaded up on candy and had a great time! Didn't his mom do an excellent job on his makeup. NO! He did not lose, he just got popped one time by the opponent but Jayden is the CHAMP!! Oh, did I mention, he is a complete CLOWN, just like his mama!! Enjoy a few pics..

Hanging out with Jayden & Jason at Six Flags

Well, Melinda and I were off on another adventure with the Jayden and Jason. We took them to Six Flags and boy they had fun riding the rides but didn't like the cartoon characters too much. Only got one pic of Jayden with a character and that was with Tweety Bird. Some of the rides, they were not tall enough ride but we got them on and HA! they survived! We had fun! Enjoy the pics....

So, it is State Fair of TX time, yay!! Jayden had a playdate at the fair with Jason and Bryson, and of course their moms! What fun we had! Eating, YES, corndogs, cotton candy, lemondade, yummy root beer, pizza, nachos, chicken strips, HEY, they are growing BOYS!!! =) We were super excited they were tall enough to ride alot of the kid rides. For the most part they enjoyed the rides it was just the getting off the rides that didn't go so well, especially with little Bryson. Overall, we had an awesome day, the kiddos were pooped as as the auntie to Jayden, his parents promptly paid me when I dropped him off just in time for bed! HA! HA! Enjoy the pics!

Lay Person of the Year!

Growing up my parents taught us about God. They led by example, they did not drop us off for church, they not only attended but were actively involved. Over the years, their love and desire to serve God has grown. And through watching them, I too have learned how awesome our Father is and what a mighty, mighty God we serve. Daddy has held several positions in his church district, 10th Episcopal African Methodist and he and mom have traveled throughout the country attending conferences and spreading the gospel. Daddy was honored on 9/30 as Lay Person of the Year for his church district. We are so proud of you Dad, your love, your sacrifice, your unselfishness for our God is so awesome to witness! Thank you for all you do for our family! We love you!

NYC, baby!

It was our first trip to NYC, OMG what an awesome city! We had a great time! We arrived on Thursday and hit the ground running. The cab ride from LaGuardia was an adventure, a 45 minute adventure. Man, those cabbies drive like crazy folks! Everyone who goes to NYC must experience a cab ride, subway ride and a tour bus ride! We got up EARLY Friday morning to go to GMA! Yes, we got tickets to go inside the studio for the show. It was so much fun. We met George, Robin and Ju Ju. We only were able to take pics with Ju Ju because Robin had to go back upstairs to tape. Just love Robin! More quick snippets of our trip, rode the Staten Island Ferry, went to Brooklyn, Harlem, Statue of Liberty, 5th Avenue and a comedy club. We had a wonderful time and are already planning our trip to go back!

Labor Day Weekend with family

Spent the weekend with my parents and went down to The Woodlands to hang out with Aunt Alice and my cousin Maxine. As always when we all get together nothing but laughter!! I love my family. We are family but we are friends by choice!
